When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Ilian Mia are +Spd and -Res. Mia's base 49 Spd (raised to 53 with a superboon) allows her to keep up with all the fast metagame units assuming equal investment and support are present on both Mia and her foes. Spd improves Mia both offensively and defensively, granting her more follow-up attacks while preventing her foe's follow-up attacks.
Res is Mia's least important stat and can be safely taken as a bane as it won't impact any of her matchups.

Ilian Mia's base 21 Res leaves her vulnerable to magic damage, especiall with her mediocre base 40 HP.
She will be reliant on her damage reduction effects in order to survive attacks against mages. Against a heavy magical nuker, Mia is prone to being defeated in one round of attacks.
Keep Mia out of range of these enemies in order to ensure her survival!
As a flying unit, Ilian Mia takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. Be sure to keep them out of the range of archers and leave them to other units.
