When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Emblem Edelgard are +Atk and -Spd. Edelgard's Atk is a superboon and is her best asset, utilizing multiple actions to land devastating attacks and knock out groups of foes. Boosting her Atk leads to higher damage output, making her job easier throughout the battle.
Edelgard's Spd is her least important stat at only base 30. Additional investment won't allow her to keep up the fast metagame foes, while ignoring it still lets her outspeed all the slow tank units in the game that aim to soak up damage. It is a safe bane to take.

Emblem Edelgard's base kit already works well to have her function as an offensive initiator or cleaner, defeating groups of foes with her multiple extra actions. Emblem Eirika Ring allows for extra attacks; Celica Ring can also work if more mobility is needed.

It is advised to acquire both Patience and one skill line using Emblem Edelgard as inheritance fodder. However, she is a very powerful unit, and is also an Emblem Hero too.
