| What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Great free-to-play hero with nearly min-maxed stats. ・Ninja Chakrams+ attacks twice, grants bonus stats, true damage, true DR, and heals 7 HP per attack. |
|
Might: 8 Range: 1 Unit attacks twice (even if foe initiates combat, unit attacks twice). At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit, unit deals +15 damage (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and reduces damage from foe's attacks by 10 during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and also, when unit deals damage to foe during combat, restores 7 HP to unit. |
|
Cooldown Count = 4 Boosts damage dealt by 80% of unit’s Def. |
|
If unit is not adjacent to an ally, grants Atk/Spd +6 during combat. |
|
If unit's Spd > foe's Spd, reduces damage from attacks during combat and from area-of-effect Specials (excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials) by percentage = difference between stats × 4 (max 40%). If unit initiates combat, unit moves 1 space away after combat. |

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
As a hero obtainable only through Tempest Trials, Ninja Shez (M) will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.
The best IVs for Ninja Shez (M) are +Spd and -Res. He has very good offensive stats for a free-to-play unit, and due to his lack of exclusive skills, he will be reliant on those stats to compete with metagame heroes. Boosting Spd allows Shez to prevent follow-up attacks from the fastest heroes in the game and should be maximized in order to compete.
Shez's Res stat is lackluster at only base 24 and can be safely taken as a bane as it won't impact any of his matchups.

This offensive build allows Shez to burst down a foe with a Potent follow-up attack, Null Follow-Up, extra movement, and true damage. Flashing Blade and Tempo Echo allow him to reliably have Gust ready or triggered at all times.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Ninja Shez (M) is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Ninja Shez (M) comes with base 48 Atk and Spd, along with a Spd superboon, making him a great unit to function as a dual phase unit reliant on Spd.
For a free-to-play unit, having these stats can allow Ninja Shez (M) to keep up with even modern metagame units, assuming he is given equal investment.
Ninja Shez (M)'s inheritable weapon Ninja Chakrams+ attacks twice on both phases and grants him Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5, +15 bonus true damage, +10 bonus true damage reduction, and 7 HP healing for each attack.
The brave effect amplifies the bonus true damage even further, especially since the true damage is a fixed amount. The effects only require HP ≥ 25% to trigger as well, making this a reliable inheritable weapon to equip.
With Shez's high base 44 Def and its brave effect, Ninja Chakrams+ can sustain himself very well against physical attackers.
Ninja Shez (M) suffers from not having any unique skills to call his own, making him unable to stand out amongst other units.
Axe Infantry units are quite abundant in the game, especially from the Heroic Grail shop, and lacking an exclusive weapon makes Ninja Shez (M) replaceable by better units.
Ninja Shez (M) only has base 24 Res, leaving him vulnerable to magic damage.
Keep him away from enemies that primarily deal magic damage to improve his survivability!
