When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Machyua are +Spd and -Res. As a fast Sword Infantry unit, Machyua relies on her Spd to compete with the fastest metagame foes, preventing their follow-up attacks while creating her own follow-up attacks. Spd is also the basis for Hot-Blooded's Spd check and is best invested into with skills and her superboon.
Res is Machyua's least important stat and can be safely taken as a bane.
We recommend +Spd when merging Machyua up to +10 to maximize her Spd stat and allow her to outspeed a majority of her foes while preventing follow-up attacks from the fastest metagame foes.

Machyua is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Machyua's inheritable Arcane weapon Arcane Renegade grants Atk/Spd+5 to all allies within 3 spaces, and whenever they deal damage to their foe, also grants them 7 HP healing.
In combat, Arcane Renegade grants Machyua up to Atk/Spd/Def/Res+14 based on 25% of her foe's Atk, bonus true damage and true damage reduction equal to 15% of Machyua's Atk (including area-of-effect Specials), a Preempt Pulse effect, and 7 HP healing whenever Machyua deals damage to her foe.
Arcane Renegade is a great inheritable Arcane Sword and has multiple effects that make it useful at all times.
Machyua's exclusive B skill Hot-Blooded has built-in Vantage and Phantom Spd, ensuring these effects are active at all times.
At the start of each turn and each enemy phase, Hot-Blooded grants a Time's Pulse effect, a 50% damage reduction piercing effect, and 【Dodge】 to Machyua and allies within 2 spaces.
In combat, Hot-Blooded inflicts Atk/Spd/Def-5 on Machyua's foe, grants her bonus true damage and true damage reduction equal to 20% of her Spd (including area-of-effect Specials), and a post-combat Pulse effect.
Hot-Blooded is a loaded skill with multiple effects that all help swing combat in Machyua's favor.

All of these are fantastic skills to pass on to your favorite units. It is possible to acquire all of them using only one copy of Machyua by acquiring the prerequisite skills first.
As a Rearmed Hero, Machyua won't disappear from your barracks upon using her as inheritance fodder.
