When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Emblem Micaiah are +Atk and -Spd. Atk is a superboon and boosts Micaiah's Atk from base 49 to 53, increasing her damage output and nuking power.
Due to Micaiah's subpar base 30 Spd, she isn't expected to prevent follow-up attacks from speedy foes. Additionally, most Far Save units in the current metagame are physical attackers, making Micaiah reliant on her Def stat to mitigate damage. Hence, we opt for a -Spd bane instead.
We recommend a +Atk IV when merging Emblem Micaiah up to +10 to maximize her nuking power, especially against fully built tanks.

Emblem Micaiah's base kit already functions well as a nuke and support hybrid. Emblem Lyn Ring is great at gaining extended threat range when paired with her self-refresh. Emblem Sigurd Ring also works for similar reasons.

Emblem Micaiah makes great use of Sly Mirror and its guaranteed follow-up attack due to her middling Spd. Fatal Smoke 4 is used to burst through Miracle effects, most notably Valentine's Rhea's due to the metagame relying on Savior armors.

Emblem Micaiah is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Emblem Micaiah's exclusive weapon Maiden's Tome has built-in Spectrum Detect, inflicting Atk/Spd/Def/Res-6 and 【Exposure】 on closest foes within 5 spaces of both Micaiah and the target ally or Micaiah and the ally targeting her after movement and on foes within 2 spaces of those foes.
Maiden's Tome also inflicts an additional Atk/Spd/Def/Res-5 onto all foes with the 【Exposure】 status active during combat and those foes suffer guaranteed follow-up attacks in combat as well.
In combat, Maiden's Tome grants Emblem Micaiah up to Atk/Spd/Def/Res+14 based on the number of allies within 3 rows and 3 columns, bonus true damage equal to the highest total penalties among target foe and nearby foes, 7 true damage reduction on all of her foe's attacks, and a Preempt Pulse effect.
Maiden's Tome is a great support weapon, inflicting multiple debuffs to her foes while retaining high damage output.
Emblem Micaiah's exclusive Special skill Great Sacrifice has 3 cooldown (2 after her accelerated trigger), boosts damage by 60% of her Res, neutralizes her foe's non-Special percentage-based damage reduction skills whenever it triggers, and grants Micaiah 40% true damage reduction once per combat whenever a Special is either ready or triggered for that combat.
More importantly, if Micaiah uses a Rally or movement Assist, Great Sacrifice restores 20 HP to allies within 2 spaces of both Micaiah and the target unit (including the target ally, but excluding Micaiah herself), cleanses 【Penalty】 effects on those allies, and grants Micaiah an extra action.
Great Sacrifice allows Emblem Micaiah to double as a support hero by healing allies and cleansing their penalties, while also retaining her action to perform an offensive nuker role as well with her high damage output.
Whenever an ally equipped with Emblem Micaiah Ring uses a Rally or movement Assist, they restore 20 HP and cleanse 【Penalty】 effects on the target ally and Emblem Micaiah Ring grants the equipped unit an extra action.
However, it also inflicts 【Isolation】 on the equipped unit and their Pair Up cohort (if any), and also, if either the equipped unit or their Pair Up cohort is a ranged unit, inflicts 【Gravity】 on both the equipped unit and their Pair Up cohort.
Emblem Micaiah Ring is best used on melee units to avoid the 【Gravity】 debuff, and can be set up properly to create various Rally or movement traps to catch unsuspecting foes unaware and extend your unit's overall threat range.

Emblem Micaiah's base 20 Def leaves her vulnerable to physical damage, especially from fast units that can take advantage of her base 30 Spd to generate follow-up attacks against her.

Emblem Micaiah has Crystalline Water, Atk/Res Havoc, and Silence Ward 4 as inheritable options.
These are all good skills for high Res units. However, Emblem Micaiah is an Emblem Hero, and having her in your barracks unlocks Emblem Micaiah Ring. Ensure you have at least one copy in your barracks.
