When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
Neutral IVs by default!
As a hero obtainable only through Tempest Trials, Valentine's Effie will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.
+Spd / -Res
The best IVs for Valentine's Effie are +Spd and -Res. Her Spd is very high at base 43 and boosting it improves her performance against modern speedy units, especially with her Petalfall Vase+.
While her Atk is very high at base 46 with a superboon, her Spd is much more important.
Her Res is below average and reducing it shouldn't impact her matchups too much. Thus, it is the bane of choice.
+Spd for a +10 merge
We recommend +Spd when merging Valentine's Effie up to +10 to maximize her potential in-combat against the fastest units in the metagame.

Valentine's Effie is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Valentine's Effie Strengths
Petalfall Vase+ is a great inheritable weapon
Valentine's Vase brings a new inheritable weapon in Petalfall Vase+. This axe grants Atk/Spd+5 during combat and also grants a Null Follow-Up effect and +5 damage during combat if she outspeeds her foe.
With her high Spd stat, outspeeding foes should be easier, especially when given multiple Spd-boosting skills.
Amazing Atk stat
Valentine's Effie comes with base 46 Atk, which is boosted to 50 when given her superboon.
This high Atk stat is necessary in order to defeat enemies in one round of combat due to her lack of an exclusive weapon that grants multiple effects.
Valentine's Effie Weaknesses
Lack of Unique Skills
Valentine's Effie suffers from not having any unique skills to call her own, making her unable to stand out amongst other units.
Axe Infantry units are quite abundant in the game, with multiple options such as Ninja Hana, Ninja Shamir, and Hans also available in the grail pool, making investing into Valentine's Effie redundant if you have also invested into one of these other heroes.
