The best IVs for Halloween Ilyana are +Atk and -Spd. This will increase the amount of damage she deals per attack. Since she can score follow-up attacks through Bold Fighter, Spd is not so much of importance to her.

Another reason to take +Atk is that it is a superboon—it grants Ilyana +4 Atk instead of the regular +3.

Spooky Censer+ improves Ilyana's Statline

Spooky Censer+ has the straightforward effect of granting +3 to all stats! The stats granted are not bonus stats, but permanent stats that are on Ilyana as long as she holds Spooky Censer+. The drawback to this is it deals -6 damage every time Halloween Ilyana exits combat. It is a small price to pay as Ilyana hits hard! Prioritize your targets well to get the most out of every HP reduction.

Guaranteed follow-up makes way for consistent Iceberg activation

Halloween Ilyana has the armor only skill Bold Fighter, which grants her a guaranteed follow-up attack when initiating combat, as well as special cooldown charge +1. This means that when initiating combat, Iceberg will almost always trigger, allowing her to take down most enemies.

Buffs an ally with the highest Atk/Res

Halloween Ilyana's C skill Atk/Res Gap gives Atk/Res+5 to the ally with the highest Atk and Res total value.This buff activates regardless of map positions, so you can essentially edit your team and determine beforehand which ally you will want the buff to be cast on. This also means that it is not weighed down by Halloween Ilyana's limited movement.
