+Spd / -Def

The best IVs for Spring Triandra are +Spd and -Def. Her Spd is one of the highest in the game at base 46, raised to base 50 with a superboon and 53 with Nightmare's Egg. Maximizing her Spd allows her to create follow-up attack opportunities and protect herself against follow-up attacks from her foes.

Her Def and Res are both abysmal and either can safely be taken as a bane. We recommend Def to create some extra bulk against enemy mage units.

+Spd for a +10 merge

We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Spring Triandra to +10 for similar reasons above.

Spring Triandra is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Nightmare's Egg is a great support weapon

Spring Triandra's exclusive weapon Nightmare's Egg grants 【Foe Penalty Doubler】 to multiple allies and inflicts 【Panic】 on multiple foes whenever she uses a refresher skill.

In combination with Frightful Dream, this weapon can cripple multiple opponents and leave them prone to getting knocked out by Triandra's allies.

In combat, Nightmare's Egg grants Atk/Spd+6, allowing Triandra to function as a clean-up unit as well.

Frightful Dream debuffs multiple foes

Spring Triandra also carries Frightful Dream similar to her original counterpart.

This exclusive refresher skill grants another action to an ally and inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-3 and 【Guard】 onto all foes in cardinal directions of both Triandra and the target ally.

In combination with Nightmare's Egg, this skill will make it easier for the rest of your team to sweep up the enemies.

Spring Triandra Weaknesses

Horrible defensive capability

Spring Triandra's bulk is one of the lowest in the entire game, with only base 37 HP and terrible base Def and Res at 18 each.

Her skills also do not grant any defensive bonuses to aid in her survival. One attack from pretty much anything will defeat her easily.

Weak to Bows

As a flying unit, Spring Triandra takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. Be sure to keep them out of the range of archers and leave them to other units.
