How to Get the Divine Shield: Location and How to Use

Divine Shield Basic Information

Divine Shield

An upgraded Sacred Shield with enhanced durability. It effectively repels electric, fire, and curse attacks.

Divine Shield Sell Price

Divine Shield can be sold to Peatrice at the Item Check for 400 Rupees.

Regenerating durability

Unlike the Wooden Shield and the Iron Shield, Sacred Shield and its upgrades can regenerate its own durability over time. It is also immune to burning, electrocution, and cursing. A great shield for mid-game to end-game.

Note that the Divine Shield can still break if your shield durability gauge on the upper right of your screen depletes to zero, so be wary.

How to Use Divine Shield

Press and Hold the R Button

Hold down the R Button on the right Joy-Con to bring up the Pouch menu. Point the controller at the shield and let go of the R Button to equip it.

If done correctly, the shield will appear on Link's back.

Shake the Left Joy-Con or Press the Left Joystick to Block

Once you have the shield equipped, shake the left Joy-Con or press the left joystick to use the shield. You can use this maneuver to block or deflect enemy attacks.
