Equipping a Life Medal in the Adventure Pouch increases your maximum health by one heart. This comes in handy especially when facing tough boss fights.

Beedle will sell a Life Medal in his shop for 800 Rupees. This will give you an extra heart point for Link's heart gauge.

How to Use Life Medal
Equip on the Adventure Pouch
The Life Medal provides passive effects when equipped on the Adventure Pouch. Simply add the Life Medal on a free Adventure Pouch slot to activate its effect.
Retrieve from Item Check
If your Adventure Pouch is already full prior to getting the Life Medal, it will be stored by Peatrice, who is managing the Item Check inside the Bazaar.
Simply talk to Peatrice and retrieve your Life Medal to your Adventure Pouch.
