This is a guide to getting the Water in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (HD) for the Nintendo Switch. Read on to learn where to find Water, as well as how to use it.

In Volcano Summit before Fire Sanctuary, you need to use a bottle of Water to the Frog beside the flames to extinguish it and proceed forward.
This is the only necessary use for Water bottles.

Use an Empty Bottle to scoop up water in any stream.
Effects: Allows you to remove the fire gates at the Volcano Summit. |
You need an extra Empty Bottle to acquire Water.
Empty Bottle Locations: How to Get All Empty Bottles
Hold down the ZR Button on the Right Joy-Con to bring up the Items menu. Point the controller at the Water and let go of the ZR Button to equip it.
Once you have equipped the Water bottle, press A Button to use it.
