How to Beat Skytail
Use Spiral Charge to its orange tail with your Loftwing to instantly defeat it.

Skytails are flying enemies that you can encounter inside the Thunderhead while flying with your Crimson Loftwing. In the early stages of the game, you cannot defeat these enemies reliably with your dash yet, and so they should be avoided until you learn Spiral Charge.

Use Spiral Charge

After learning Spiral Charge from Instructor Owlan after defeating the Imprisoned (Round 2). You can now defeat Skytails in the Sky with your Crimson Loftwing by pressing X button.
