This guide will show you how to beat Skytail, an enemy in the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD for the Nintendo Switch. Read on to learn where to find Skytail, drops for beating it, as well as strategy for beating it.

| Use Spiral Charge to its orange tail with your Loftwing to instantly defeat it. |
Skytails are flying enemies that you can encounter inside the Thunderhead while flying with your Crimson Loftwing. In the early stages of the game, you cannot defeat these enemies reliably with your dash yet, and so they should be avoided until you learn Spiral Charge.
After learning Spiral Charge from Instructor Owlan after defeating the Imprisoned (Round 2). You can now defeat Skytails in the Sky with your Crimson Loftwing by pressing X button.
