Skyward Sword HD Magmanos

How to Beat Magmanos
Magmanos cools and hardens by throwing a water plant to it while the hand is overhead. You can defeat it then by slashing it four times after it solidifies.

Magmanos are hand shaped lava monsters found in multiple lava pits in the Fire Sanctuary.

You cannot defeat it normally with your arsenal at hand. Instead, it must be dowsed with water before having the ability to defeat it with your sword.

Use the Water Plant

Water Plant
When players come face to face with Magmanos, the first thing they should do is find a Water Plant.

Ride the stone slabs until the Magmanos lift you to an area where players can skewer a Water Plant with a thrust. Once the plant is attached to your sword, lure the Magmanos out from beneath the lava and strike them with the water. This will cause the Magmanos to harden.

Attack while Magmanos is hardened

Magmanos Hardened
Once hardened, players can attack the Magmanos regularly and defeat it in a few slashes. This will also lower the lava beneath it.
