You can use the BLADE Scout Console to recruit a higher-leveled character. You will be able to fight and defeat stronger enemies with ease earning you xp fast.
However, this tip is exclusive to players who are subscribed to Nintendo Online.
| Steps to Instakill Enemies | |
|---|---|
| 1 | ![]() Get Irina to Class Level 13 to Unlock Servant Sacrifice. This is the art that can instantly kill enemies. |
| 2 | ![]() Equip Brainjack and Servant Sacrifice Arts to Irina's Art Palette. Brainjack normally can't control big enemies unless you activate it with a purple soul voice. |
| 3 | ![]() Assign the purple type to your main character's Draw Ranged Soul Voice.. This will provide you with a purple soul voice for Brainjack. |
| 4 | ![]() Have Irina accumulate 1000 TP by ordering her to "Keep the tension up!" for several battles. |
| 5 | ![]() Take control of Irina and find a large high-level creature like a Millesaur. |
| 6 | ![]() Engage a different enemy first and from a distance to have your main character draw their ranged weapon and trigger the purple soul voice. |
| 7 | ![]() Once your purple arts are glowing, switch targets and cast Brainjack on the target enemy followed by Servant Sacrifice. If successful, the target should immediately die. If failed, repeat from step 4. |
While difficult to execute and luck dependent, if successfully pulled off, this trick will give you several levels in an instant.
| Mission | Chapter | Description |
|---|---|---|
| The Skell License | Chapter 6 (Clear) | Pass exams from each division to earn your Skell license. |
As soon as you're able to, immediately complete the Skell License mission to acquire Skells. These machines will make combat a lot easier for your party, allowing you to defeat more enemies faster and, in turn, gain xp faster.

Beat enemies that are around 5 levels higher than you. Though it can be difficult, this can get you more experience than fighting regular enemies.

Another way to get experience quickly is to group weaker enemies and fight them simultaneously. You can also do this to farm a specific drop.
Herd enemies together by changing your target and attacking another unit. Make sure to get enemies that your party can handle or else you will be overwhelmed.

Missions can grant a decent amount of EXP, alongside other rewards. Generally, Support Missions, Affinity Missions and Harder Basic Missions give the most EXP.
Generally, you should always do Affinity Missions when available as these will unlock new Arts for your characters. On the other hand, Basic Missions also have the added incentinve of increasing the Survey Rate of the region you are in.

Support Missions are a type of repeatable missions that can accessed in the BLADE Barracks. You can access them in the Network Terminal, just go past the hallway next to the Customization Center.
They are repeatable timed challenges that have several rewards, including EXP, Battle Points, and Miranium. However, since it is a generated challenge, enemies will not drop items.
