Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition - New Features and Changes

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition will feature new changes, quality-of-life improvements, and added content. See a list of new features for the upcoming release and its differences from the Wii U version.

HUD and UI Improvements

HUD elements have been upscaled, improving the readability of the text shown on screen. This has been a complaint for most players, so the definitive edition has taken steps to improve player experience.

Extended Level Cap

The previous editions of Xenoblade Chronicles X capped the level at 60, halting progress for long-time players. With the addition of new content, the character level cap has been increased to 99, allowing players to progress further in order to enjoy the new endgame.

Removed BLADE Level

BLADE Level is no longer in the definitive edition of the game. You can still choose BLADE Divisions and earn Division rewards, but they will have little impact on your game progress.
