Lin is considered one of the best units in the game to apply the Topple effect on enemies in the game. This build will focus on that effect with Drum Roll, Wild Smash, Wild Down and Thermal Payload for good measure.
Supporting these are Reality Rift, Supershield and Trash Talk, allowing Lin to take advantage of melee damage buffs and taunt with enough defense so enemies can focus down on her as a tank. Other arts such as Shield Wall and Enhanced Stand are also viable.

Lin's skills will focus more towards enhancing her tanking abilities. Under this build, Lin will be a frontal shield attacker with Shield Screen while increasing her effect resistance with Stand Strong. Dirty Fighter will improve Lin's melee but can be mixed with Machine Gunner.

Tanking and Toppling Opposition
Lin's tanking capabilities and her toppling effect arts and skills allow her to stay flexible in most scenarios and is very amazing in early game to mid-game.
She will still find her niche use in the endgame as an offensive tank with her melee capabilities and Topple as an effect will still be generally good against enemies in endgame but at a reduced capacity.
