You can fast travel by opening the map screen and selecting landmarks in Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition. Learn how to fast travel, and learn how to unlock fast travel points in Mira!

Fast travel from location to location by opening the map and selecting unlocked fast travel points. These are not immediately available at the start of the game and are gradually accessed as you progress through the main story and by exploring different areas.

Fast travel in Xenoblade Chronicles X is only available if you have access to the Wii U GamePad. The touchscreen serves as the navigation interface, allowing you to select fast travel points directly.
If you are playing without a GamePad, you will not be able to use this feature.

On the map, you'll see various icons representing different locations:
Navigate to the desired landmark or area you wish to travel to.
Highlight the chosen location and confirm your selection to fast travel there.

As you explore Mira, approach notable locations to register them as landmarks on your map.
Once discovered, these landmarks become available as fast travel destinations.

Locate FrontierNav Probe Placement Sites throughout Mira and interact with these sites to install data probes, which not only gather valuable information but also serve as fast travel points.
To install certain probes, you may need to upgrade your Field Skills, such as the Mechanical skill, to the required level.

Certain fast travel points, especially within NLA, become accessible as you advance in the main storyline.
For instance, fast travel to NLA is unlocked after completing Chapter 2 and starting Chapter 3.

Fast travel in Xenoblade Chronicles X is available after completing Chapter 2 of the main story.
Once unlocked, you can fast travel at any time, except during certain story missions or battles.
