Chapter 11 Walkthrough: Consequences
Step-by-Step Walkthrough

| 1 |  To start Chapter 11, make sure you've completed The Zu Pharg Menace, the Nine Lives Affinity Mission, the Boot Camp Affinity Mission, and have surveyed at least 10% of Cauldros. Your party must also include you, Elma, and Lin. Once everything's in place, head to the conference room in the BLADE Barracks to trigger a cutscene that officially begins the chapter. ► The Zu Pharg Menace |
| 2 |  After the opening cutscene, head to the restricted hangar in the administrative district of New LA. A meeting with Lao will occur, leading into another extended cutscene. |
| 3 |  Follow Lao into the Ganglion Base in Cauldros. The fastest route is by fast traveling to FN Site 506. Hop into your Skell, fly above the terrain, and head toward the O'rrh Sim Castle Ruins. Approach the quest marker to trigger another cutscene. ►How to Fast Travel |
| 4 |  Fly to the next destination pointed out by Tatsu. Two Level 41 Marnuck Imperials are guarding the entrance,take them out. After the fight, proceed into the base on foot. |
| 5 |  Inside the base, your goal is to track down Lao. Turn right, then follow the path left while sticking to the quest marker. Expect resistance from Marnuck Imperials along the way. You can take a few detours to complete Field Actions. Eventually, you'll face off against a Frontline Medic Quo and two more Imperials. The group is big, but manageable. |
| 6 |  Keep moving toward the quest marker and take the elevators down. You'll encounter an Enhanced Attack Range Zig enemy. Focus your attacks on it while your team handles the background Milsaadi Hunters. |
| 7 |  After the fight, push forward. You can skip unnecessary enemies by running past them and heading straight to the marker. Near the destination, a cutscene will play, followed by a battle with a Level 44 Force Seidr. Target its legs first to stagger it, then go for the body, this will be an easy fight with this strategy in mind. |
| 8 |  After the battle, a cutscene will trigger, unlocking Skell use inside the base. Hop inside your Skell and return back inside. Take the elevator down for another cutscene with Lao, leading to a boss fight against him in his Prog Ares Skell. This is a two-phase fight. The first part is relatively easy so it's best to conserve your Arts and TP. After a short cutscene, phase two begins with Lao at full health. Use your strongest attacks here. Strategy remains the same for the two fights: target appendages and swap attack types when he becomes immune. |
| 9 |  After defeating Prog Ares, a final cutscene will play. Once it ends, fast travel back to New LA and report to Commander Vandham at the BLADE Barracks. A concluding cutscene will mark the end of Chapter 11. ► Chapter 12: Into the Core |
