Online Missions are requests you can do with a squad in Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition and they can only be done online. This means that you need to have a Nintendo Switch Online membership.
Online Missions can be accepted in the BLADE Barracks, specifically the Network Console.
Private Squad Multiplayer Message Board
Online Missions were originally known as Squad Missions in the Wii U version of Xenoblade Chronicles X. With this, expect around 160 Online Missions in the definitive edition.
Other than Online Missions, you can also do Squad Tasks with your friends!

| 17 | Online Rookie | Played online with other players 10 times |
| 18 | Online Veteran | Played online with other players 50 times |
| 19 | Online Master | Played online with other players 100 times |
| 55 | Clothes? Who Needs 'Em! | Completed an online mission with no equipment besides weapons. |
| 57 | Caregiver | Revived party members 100 times during online play. |
You will be able to unlock all the achievements listed above when you do Online Missions!
