Earn the FrontierNav Revenue in Xenoblade Chronicles X by playing the game and setting up data probes. Learn how to use the FrontierNav and how to unlock it by reading our guide below!
List of Contents
You earn a certain amount of credits, miranium, and resources through data probes in FrontierNav Sites or FN Sites.
To receive your revenue, you must do around 30 minutes of active gameplay. The game will not count any time you are idle.
You can check how many credits and miranium your probes produce by looking at the lower right corner of the FrontierNav screen.
Ways to Increase FrontierNav Revenue |
---|
|
The Basic Probes, which are unlocked when you install a FN Site, will only produce 50% of its potential revenue.
Always try to replace it with another probe to optimize your passive credit and miranium gain.
You can earn them by raising your Survey Rate, completing missions, or opening treasures.
If you add a Research Probe to an FN Site, it will raise its revenue production. Add it to FN Sites with a high grade in Revenue.
A FN Site is graded for three categories: Production, Revenue, and Combat Support. Each category has a letter grade for how much output they provide. From best to worst, the grades are S, A, B, C, E, F.
There are certain locations that boost the revenue of a FN Site. These are called Scenic Viewpoints.
By discovering one, you will instantly add 2000 credits to the FN Site's revenue.
Each FN Site will also produce miranium and a chance to gather any resources available in the area.
To raise miranium output and increase the chance to get precious resources, install Mining Probes to FN Sites with a high Production Grade.
Another probe you can use to maximize revenue is Booster Probes. They will increase the function of any linked probes.
Use these when there are FN Sites with poor grades or you want to further improve a linked set of probes.
Chain Combination | Production Increse |
---|---|
3 Probes | + 30% |
5 Probes | + 50% |
8 Probes | + 80% |
If you link together the same probes on a line in the FrontierNav map, their overall output will increase by how many are in a chain. They must also be of the same grade.
You have to complete the The Probe-fessional Normal Quest to unlock the FrontierNav and data probes.
It must be completed to unlock Chapter 4, but it can be done as early as Chapter 2. Unlock it early to start earning credits and miranium.
