Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition - Press A with 3000 TP

You can revive a fallen ally by pressing A when you have 3000 TP. The prompt for "Get Up" will only appear when you have enough TP.

How to Revive Teammates

Use to Activate Overdrive

Accumulating 3000 TP will allow you to activate Overdrive. This is a timed state that provides a lot of bonuses including shortened cooldowns, tertiary cooldowns, increased damage dealt, and weakened enemy resistances.

One way to boost your max TP is to equip and level up the Mindscape skill. It increases your max TP between 500-1500 depending on level.

Some Armor pieces increase max TP when equipped due to their additional effect of Max TP Up.

Augments

Augment Type Effect
Max TP Boost Stat Boosts maximum TP by 5/6/7/8/9%.
Max TP Up Stat Boosts maximum TP by 500/600/700/800/900.

The values displayed in the table are only for the 1st five (5) levels of the augment.

Equipping Augments is another way to increase Max TP as some provide this exact effect. Augments can be crafted, looted from enemies and treasure boxes, or bought from shops.

At their max rank of 20, they can provide an additional 3000 Max TP.

How to Gain TP

Accrued From Auto-Attacks

TP is gained during combat with normal attacks.

In addition, you start the next battle with the same amount of TP you ended the last one.

Succeed in Soul Challenges

Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition - Perfect Rating

TP can be gained if when succeeding in Soul Challenges and getting an either good or perfect rating.

Soul challenges are quick-time events that prompts when you trigger a Soul Voice. The bonus effect of the soul voice will apply if successful on the challenge.
