Chapter 2 Walkthrough: The New Frontier
Step-by-Step Walkthrough

| 1 |  To begin this mission, head to the BLADE Barracks after completing the New Los Angeles mission. A cutscene will automatically play once inside. ▶ Chapter 1: New Los Angeles |
| 2 |  After the cutscene, exit the Barracks. Another cutscene will trigger, marking your next destination, the East Gate Plain. Before heading out, it's recommended to visit the shop and purchase new weapons and gear. |
| 3 |  Once you're ready, proceed to the East Gate to leave New LA and enter the plains. The enemies in this area are passive and won’t attack unless provoked, so you can safely follow the quest marker.. |
| 4 |  Upon reaching your destination, a cutscene will introduce a Tyrant. Since you will be facing this enemy, ensure you have the best gear and Arts equipped before engaging in battle. |
| 5 |  Engage Volkampf, The Pursuer to start the battle. Have Lin and Elma focus on close-range combat while you deal rapid-fire damage from a distance. When Volkampf turns its back to you, move in and unleash high-damage Arts. Stick to this strategy, and you’ll take down the Tyrant efficiently. |
| 6 |  After the battle, a short cutscene will play, and you will successfully install the Data Probe. Now that the mission is complete, return to the Barracks to speak with Nagi. Be cautious, as some enemies on the way back are now hostile. Defeat them as needed and proceed to base. |
| 7 |  pon returning to the Barracks, you will meet Commander Vandham. A cutscene will follow, marking the completion of the mission. ▶ Chapter 3: Builders of a Legacy |
