| ・Head to Barista court in the Morning ・Head to the Hangar in the afternoon ・Get a blue electrical tentacle from the Duoguills in Primordia ・Talk to Cedric at the Hangar in the Administrative District. ・Gather information on the Commander's NIghttime place of work. ・Investigate the BLADE Tower door at night. ・Defeat the Sailing Grex in Primordia's Biahno Grasslands. ・Return to BLADE Tower and report to Commander Vandham. |

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

| 1 |  To unlock the A Day in the Life affinity mission, you’ll need to complete Chapter 4 and be at least Level 16. Once those conditions are met, it’ll appear on Mission Control. ▶ Chapter 4: The Ganglion Menace |
| 2 |  Head to the Commercial District in New LA and go to Barista Court to accept the mission. Note that this mission is only available in the morning, so make sure to adjust the in-game time accordingly. |
| 3 |  Next, go to the Hangar in the Administrative District and speak with Vandham again. Remember, Vandham only appears in the afternoon, so adjust the time if needed. |
| 4 |  Fast travel to FN Site 104 in Primordia and activate the Follow Ball. You’ll be led to a nearby group of Cave Duoguills. Defeat them until one drops a Blue Electrical Tentacle. ▶ How to Fast Travel |
| 5 |  Bring the tentacle back to the Hangar and talk to Cedric. Your next task will be to gather information on Vandham’s nighttime activities. |
| 6 |  Step outside the Hangar and follow the quest marker. You’ll find a group of people gossiping, listen in to learn more. |
| 7 |  Head to the BLADE Tower at night and investigate. Inside, you’ll discover a secret meeting. A cutscene will play, revealing your next objective. |
| 8 |  Fast travel to Plundered Ruin in Primordia and follow the quest marker. You’ll encounter a Sailing Grex, but nearby Fighter Grexes will also aggro. Be prepared before engaging. |
| 9 |  After defeating the Sailing Grex, return to the BLADE Tower to wrap up the mission and claim your reward. |
