Sprint Racing Shoes can be obtained by participating in races with the matching distance. A race's distance can be seen at the Races menu, below the track type.
You can also view more details about the race to plan ahead by clicking the info button in the Races menu.

If you're part of a club, you can also request Sprint Racing Shoes from your club members. You can only request a maximum of 10 shoes every 8 hours.

Raise Trainee Potential
Use the Sprint Racing Shoes to raise your Trainee's potential. This unlocks different skills for your Trainee that she can learn during Career Mode.
Aside from the required materials, raising a Trainee's potential requires Monies.
