List of Contents
The post-game of Super Mario RPG Remake is unlocked by completing the main story, which requires defeating Smithy, the final boss found in his Weapon World.
During the post-game, simply revisit Marrymore to find two sleeping Torte and Bundt & Raspberry. Approach them to initiate a battle!
Make sure to prepare your party beforehand, since post-game fights are harder than the original!

Enduring Brooch | Prevents you from going down once per battle. |
Defeating Extra-Fancy Bundt and Raspberry will reward the powerful post-game accessory Enduring Brooch.

Equipment for Status Effects | |
---|---|
(Optional) | |
Having armor or accessories that protect you from status effect attacks like Lulla-Bye and Sand Storm will be helpful in this fight to make it more convenient to focus on extinguishing Extra-Fancy Bundt & Raspberry's candles.
The Super Suit can be difficult to obtain, requiring consecutive 100 Super Jumps to be rewarded by the Chow in Monstro Town. You can settle with the other equipment listed instead if you cannot obtain it yet.
List of Status Conditions and How to Heal
Instead of the original Bundt & Raspbery where the candles are lit one by one each turn, the proces is now accelerated by the two Exhausted Torte. Make sure to use normal attacks to extinguish the candles quickly!
Letting all of the candles light up will cause Extra-Fancy Bundt & Raspberry to use Celebration Shot, a powerful unblockable attack that can cause your entire active party to fall. This causes up to 9999 damage.
Also, as long as all candles remain lit up, Celebration Shot will be used repeatedly. Make sure to take out those candles quickly!
Special Move | Effect |
---|---|
Sleepy Time (Peach) |
・Rotate the left stick to increase the range of the special move and target all enemies instead. |
Since the Torte will be responsible for lighting up the candles, casting Sleep on them will temporarily stop the process. Take advantage of Peach's Sleepy Time and pull of a successful Action Command to put them to sleep!
Special Move | Effect |
---|---|
Ultra Jump (Mario) |
・Press the button upon landing on an enemy to make the Special Move a multi-target attack. |
Extra-Fancy Bundt and Raspberry are weak to Jump attacks, so it is best to have Mario use Jump specials like Ultra Jump to deal large amounts of continuous damage.
