Samus Sleeping in Mushroom Castle After Defeating Belome

You can find Samus sleeping on the bed of the guest room inside the Mushroom Castle. She can only be found there after beating Belome for the second time at Land's End.

She permanently disappears when you have reached Nimbus Land for the first time. Nothing is rewarded for interacting with her, but it is still a cool easter egg.

There's another Samus cameo in the final room of Booster Tower during the Curtain Minigame, where there is a box full of dolls. One of the dolls is a Samus doll.

Samus Aran is the protagonist of the Metroid series, which is another series created by Nintendo. She grew up to become a bounty hunter, traversing through the galaxy equipped with her Power Suit and her Arm Cannon designed by the ancient Chozo race.

Her latest appearance in the Metroid franchise is Metroid Dread for the Nintendo Switch.
