Equipping accessories and armor is the best method for preventing being affected by Sleep.

Accessories that Prevents Sleep

Accessory Description
Safety Ring Prevents instant defeat, status ailments, and most elemental attacks.
Safety Badge Prevents any status ailments.
Wake Up Pin Prevents mute and sleep status.

Armor Description
Super Suit Negates status ailments and elemental attacks.
Lazy Shell (Armor) Immunity to status and most elemental attacks.

Use Items and Moves

If your party members are affected by Sleep, using items or Peach's special moves will do the trick! There are limited methods for curing Sleep during the early game, so it's best to bring Cleansing Juices with you on your journey!

Freshen Up 5 Cures All Status Ailments of All Allies
Thropher Cookie 69 Recovers 69 HP and heals all status of all allies.

s can only be bought in Seaside Town before beating Speardovich.

Special Move Lv. Unlock Effects
Therapy Base Heals an ally and nullifies any status ailment.
Timed Bonus: Increased healing.
Group Hug Base Heals the party and nullifies any status ailment.
Timed Bonus: Increased healing.

Automatically Heals After 3 Turns

Status Conditions heal on their own after 3 turns. If you cannot wait 3 turns, use other methods to cure Sleep immediately.

Get Hit by a Physical Attack

Getting hit by a physical attack in battle will wake up the character currently affected by Sleep. This is the only method that reduces HP.

Moves That Apply Sleep

Special Move Lv. Unlock Effects
Sleepy Time 11 Inflicts Sleep status effect.
Timed Bonus: Targets all enemies instead.
