Best Equipment for Each Character
|
Special Move | Effect |
---|---|
Geno Boost (Geno) |
・Raises an ally's attack by 50%, and defense 50% if the timed boost is successful. ・Press the button right before the arrows disappear for a timed bonus! |
None of enemies in this fight have weaknesses, so a recommended combat loop will revolve around using Geno Boost to buff your party's damage and using normal attacks.
Best Special Moves for Each Character
For convenience, choose to defeat Domino first since he is considerably strong in the second phase with Bad Adder (Earth Link). The second phase of this battle depends on who falls first between Cloaker and Domino.
If Domino is defeated first, Cloaker will retreat and join with Bad Adder. If Cloaker is defeated first, then Domino will retreat and join with Mad Adder.
Once you have defeated Domino, Cloaker will be strengthened and will fuse with his snake Bad Adder (Earth Link). Of the two, Cloaker has the least HP in this fight.
Prioritize taking down Cloaker first in this case so that you will only have to deal with Bad Adder after!
Special Move | Effect |
---|---|
Ultra Jump (Mario) |
・Press the button upon landing on an enemy to jump again and make the move a multi-target attack. |
Geno Beam (Geno) |
・Hold down the button until there are 3 stars to increase the damage dealt. |
Bad Adder (Earth Link) has low magic defense, so feel free to attack with special moves for increased damage. In using special moves for Bad Adder, Mario's Ultra Jump and Geno's Geno Beam are recommended.
Of all of the enemies present in this fight, only Cloaker has no special attacks and thus is purely dependent on physical attack (which still hits hard.)
To reduce the damage you take can from attacks, make sure to practice your blocks and time them accordingly.
Domino's most dangerous multi-target special attack in the first phase is Blizzard. In the second phase, he is capable of putting all party members to sleep with Light Bubble.
Other than that, he makes use of the utility special move Endobubble, which can inflict Fear on one party member.
