Oh yeah i know you guys don't know me and I'm like a year late to saying this but i got a 5:46 in the paratroopa minigame a year ago aswell and I thought i'd post it here cause why not, i know its not close to wr but i spent a lot of time grinding it back then. Damn Jobyer, that is an amazing time save! Using your technique, I manage to optimize just a bit more and shave off 0,02 seconds. Again, hoping to see the Time get lowered again. Here's my records now : Goomba Thump Record : 55 Mine-Car Race : 1:42,75 Beetle Race : 17 Paratroopa : 00:05,34 Waiting for more records to come!

Update: Paratroopa 5.36. I managed to optimize the route I was taking before
Update: Paratroopa Cliff 5.56. That's the best I can do for now, but I believe it can be optimized
Paratroopa Record 5.60. I changed the route slightly, moving the first 2 shells and the last one, then doing the normal route and the shell skip at the end.
Damn, New Paratroopa Record! This is getting really close to the best I think, unless another strat comes by. Here's my records now : Goomba Thump Record : 55 Mine-Car Race : 1:42,75 Beetle Race : 17 Paratroopa : 00:05,73 Hope to see someone beat that Paratroopa score again.

Update: Paratroopa Cliff 5.76
Reading all the related to Paratroop Cliff, I managed to get 5.80
I forgot to say i was asking for the paratroopa one lol, that's an insane strat, I'm gonna try it., and thank you for the reply.
For the Mine-Car Race, it's complicated. I can give an in-depth analysis if you want to.
For the Paratroopa one, I Found a video that showed a New strat and that person got 6:03. The link is https://youtu.be/VFmM5isJFWQ I perfected it and Got 00:05:95 I have video proof too though it is bad quality that I might uplaud to my channel soon. For Goomba Thump, I Got really lucky and kept Jumping pipe to pipe in hope goombas will show Up and not spinies. 17 Beetles in the beetle race, you just need to Jump on the Barrels everytime you can.
Mistake, Beetle Race 17, which I think might be perfect.
This might be my final screenshot hence I think I've got close to perfect un every mini-games that weren't max out yet. Wanted to share my scores, since some of them looks like to be really good. (Also yes, my game is in french since my first language is french) Goomba Thump Record : 55 Mine-car Race Record : 1:45:27 Beetle Race Record : 16 Those Three looks to be High score, if you have any questions, you can ask me.

Just wanted to make the leaderboards for Goomba Thump while it was still achievable!
Nm last update - 6.61 paratroopa. Feels like pretty close to the best I can do for now. Sub 6.50 might be possible with frame perfect inputs or obv if a new strat comes along
Honestly, had I known it was 100m -1, I might have considered 10-folding my time on it, but I just legit was getting bored by 10m. Not to mention, I played the original on SNES so I have had access to Beetle Mania for over 25 years, and I can say there's nothing new or exciting about it, lol. Also man, sub 7s Paratroopa? You guys are insane; well done!
Updated 6:74 paratroopa, found new timesave where you jump on shell 8 immediately before starting and then fall down/start racing to cycle it out of the way of your head allowing you to longjump from shell 4 to shell 5. Same jump skip used on shell 7. Not a perfect time but I’m done doing attempts until someone beats this because it’s annoying having to complete two races to get one attempt in lol
