①	Enter Upper-Left Exit
②	Enter Lower-Left Exit
③	Enter Lower-Left Ext
④	Enter Upper-Left Exit
⑤	Enter the Stump to reach the Secret Treasure Room.

Secret Path Rewards

The contents of the treasure chests in the secret room will vary depending on your previous interactions with a man in Rose Town trying to get into his house. The rewards will be better if you either do not steal the man's treasures, or wait to do so until after getting the treasures at the end of the Forest Maze secret path.

Best Route: Forest Maze Treasures → Steal the Treasures → Confess to Stealing

The best rewards you can get from the Toad in Rose Town and the Forest Maze Secret Path combined are 5 Flowers, 2 Frog Coins, and a Mushroom chest, if you took the treasure from the Forest Maze first, opened the chests inside the house, and confessed to taking the treasures to the Toad after.

2	Hidden Chest #8 Frog Coin	Upon getting out of the tree stump after traversing the first cavern in the Forest Maze, walk northwest towards the trees then jump to reveal the chest.
3	Hidden Chest #9 Flower	In the area with Wigglers coming out of stumps, enter the easternmost stump. In the cavern, walk towards the patch of light by the southernmost part of the area then jump to reveal the chest.
4	Hidden Chest #10 Empty	In the area with Wigglers coming out of stumps, enter the left stump in the second row. Walk northwest to the corner just near the jumping platform and jump to reveal the chest; it's an empty chest, though.
5	Hidden Chest #11 Croaka Cola	In the area with Wigglers coming out of stumps, enter the westernmost stump. Go to the westernmost corner of the cavern, behind the sleeping Wiggler, then jump to reveal the chest.
6	Hidden Chest #12 Red Essence	Go through the Forest Maze Junction (Take the path: ↘︎, ↗︎, ↗︎, ↘︎, ↗︎, ↖︎), then in the next room, go to the bottom corner of the first area before reaching the save block. Note that this is the only block in a different location from the original game.

Forest Maze Walkthrough and Directions

Follow the directions below to learn how to get through the Forest Maze, including the section where you follow Geno through the forest. Even if you return to the area and Geno is no longer there to follow, you can use the directions below to get through the Forest Maze.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

①	Follow the path and move forward to the next zone.
②	Proceed along the path and enter the stump at the back (you can enter them similar to a pipe).
③	Follow the path and get on the trampoline to jump to the next zone.
④	Follow the path and go through the passage in the back to the next area.
⑤	Use the tree stump on left most part of the area.
⑥	Jump on the sleeping caterpillar.
⑦	You will be returned to the same area you were in before but there will be a new area ahead.
⑧	Enter the tree stump in front.
⑨	Keep following the path to head to the next area.
⑩	Follow the path and use the trampoline to jump to the next area.
⑪	After exiting the tree stump, proceed along the path and go to the next area.
⑫	Follow Geno to the lower-right path.
⑬	Follow Geno to the upper-right path.
⑭	Follow Geno straight across to the upper-right path.
⑮	Follow Geno to the lower-right path.
⑯	Follow Geno to the upper-right path.
⑰	Follow Geno to the upper-left to the area with Bowyer. On the next screen, try to grab Hidden Treasure Chest #12 before leaving Forest Maze, or you'll have to go through Forest Maze Junction again to get back, and with no Geno to follow through the maze.
