HP Recovery items are consumable items that restore the HP of your party members. These items can be used in and out of battle.
Name | Effect |

Moldy Mush | Recovers 1 HP of a single ally. |
Rotten Mush | Recovers 5 HP of a single ally. |
Wilt Shroom | Recovers 10 HP of a single ally. |
Mushroom | Recovers 30 HP of a single ally. |
Mushroom (Triplets) | Recovers 30 HP of a single ally, but turns them into a Mushroom. |
Mid Mushroom | Recovers 80 HP of a single ally. |
Yoshi Candy | Recovers 100 HP of a single ally. |
Max Mushroom | Recovers all HP of a single ally. |
Tadpola Cola | Recovers 30 HP of all allies. |
Thropher Cookie | Recovers 69 HP and heals all status of all allies. |
Elixir | Recovers 80 HP of all allies. |
Finless Cola | Recovers 150 HP of all allies. |
Pick Me Up | Revives a defeated ally and restores all their HP. |
Croaka Cola | Recovers all HP & FP of all allies. |
FP Recovery items are consumable items that restore the FP of your party. The Flower items refill FP when used in addition to raising max FP, but unlike the Syrups, can only be used outside of battle.

Maple Syrup | Recovers 40 FP. |
Royal Syrup | Recovers all FP. |
Flower Tab | Raises max FP by 1 and refills FP. |
Flower Jar | Raises max FP by 3 and refills FP. |
Flower Box | Raises max FP by 5 and refills FP. |
Support items are consumable items that either provide boosts or heal status ailments. These items can't be used outside of battle.

Energizer | Increases the attack of a single ally by 50%. |
Bracer | Reduces all damage taken by a single ally by 50%. |
Party Energizer | Increases the attack of all allies by 50%. |
Party Bracer | Reduces all damage taken by all allies by 50%. |
Yoshi-ade | Increases the attack and decreases all damage taken by a single ally by 50%. |
Red Essence | Makes a single ally immune from attacks for 3 turns and removes all current status ailments. Will sometimes last for five turns instead or give a free item. |
Cleansing Juice | Heals all status ailments of a single ally. |
Freshen Up | Heals all status ailments of all allies. |
Attack items are items that can be used in battle to inflict status, damage, or instantly defeat enemies. Some of these items are not consumable and can be used infinitely. These items can't be used outside of battle.

Sleepy Bomb | Inflicts sleep to all enemies. |
Poison Mushroom | Deals 50 damage and inflicts poison to a single enemy. |
Fright Bomb | Deals 100 damage and may inflict fear on a single enemy. |
Fire Bomb | Deals 120 damage to all enemies. |
Ice Bomb | Deals 140 damage to all enemies. |
Rock Candy | Deals 200 damage to all enemies. |
Star Egg | Deals 100 damage to all enemies. This item can't be used up. |
Yoshi Cookie | Summon Yoshi in battle, where he will try to eat an enemy, defeating them and transforming them into a specific item. If unsuccessful, Yoshi will drop a Yoshi Candy. Also used outside of battle to bet on Yoshi races. |
Pure Water | Instantly defeats weaker undead foes or the clones created by Belome. Deals 200 damage to undead bosses. |
Mystery Egg | Can be used by Peach when equipped with the Nurture Ring. When used ten times, a Lamb's Lure item will be obtained. |
Lamb's Lure | Turns an enemy into a sheep, instantly defeating them but not yielding any coins or experience. Can't be used against bosses and large enemies. When used 48 times, a Sheep Attack is obtained. |
Sheep Attack | Turns all enemies into a sheep, instantly defeating them but not yielding any coins or experience. Can't be used against bosses and large enemies. This item can't get used up. |
Battle items are items that affect the state of the battle, or has an effect after finishing a battle. These items can't be used outside of battle.

Earlier Times | Reset a battle from the beginning. This item can't be used up. |
Lucky Jewel | Gives a Lucky Flower when used. This item disappears after 10 uses. |
Goodie Bag | Use in battle to get 1 coin. |
Special items are items that can't be manually used at all. These mostly are key items that progress the story or unlock areas and features.

Alto Card | Lowers item prices in the Juice Bar, and unlocks Elixirs for purchase. |
Tenor Card | Lowers item prices in the Juice Bar, and unlocks Megalixirs for purchase. |
Soprano Card | Lowers item prices in the Juice Bar, and unlocks Croaka Colas for purchase. |
Castle Key 1 | Unlocks the door to Birdo's room in Nimbus Castle. |
Castle Key 2 | Unlocks the door out of Birdo's room in Nimbus Castle. |
Elder Key | Unlocks the Ancestor Hall in Booster Tower, where the Chomp weapon is. |
Room Key | Unlocks the mine room in Booster Tower, where the Zoom Shoes are. |
Shed Key | Unlocks the shed in Seaside Town to free the citizens. |
Temple Key | Unlocks the treasure room in Belome Temple. |
Big Boo Flag | One of the three flags that needs to be found to receive the Ghost Medal. |
Dry Bones Flag | One of the three flags that needs to be found to receive the Ghost Medal. |
Greaper Flag | One of the three flags that needs to be found to receive the Ghost Medal. |
Cricket Jam | Give to Frog Sage to receive 10 Frog Coins. |
Cricket Pie | Give to Frog Sage to receive the Froggy Stick. |
Rare Frog Coin | Used to buy the Cricket Pie in the Mushroom Kingdom shop. |
Microbomb | Give to mole in the Coal Mines to get past a wall and gain access to the next area. |
Beetle Box | Allows you to store and sell beetles you catch at Booster Hill. |
Bright Card | Needed to get into Grate Guy's Casino. |
Fireworks | Trade to get the Shiny Stone. |
Fertilizer | Give to the Gardener in Rose Town to get the two Lazy Shells. |
Seed | Give to the Gardener in Rose Town to get the two Lazy Shells. |
Shiny Stone | Opens the sealed door in Monstro Town. |
Carbo Cookie | Trade two Carbo Cookies to a mole girl to get a Frog Coin. |
Wallet | Give it back to the owner to get a Flower Tab. |
Extra-Shiny Stone | Opens the sealed door in Monstro Town a second time. |
