The post-game of Super Mario RPG Remake is unlocked by completing the main story, which requires defeating Smithy, the final boss found in his Weapon World.
Jinx is an optional boss in the main story and is located in Monstro Town. You can find him to initiate the rematch as soon as you have stayed over at the Marrymore Hotel using the Stay Voucher given in the post-game.
You will need to have beaten his three fights first since he will only reward you the Teamwork Band when you beat him again as the dojo's Master.

Accessories Preventing Instant Death | |
---|---|
Every time you fail an Action Command, Jinx will retaliate with the one-hit KO Silver Bullet. This fight can be difficult to deal with without equipment that protects you from instant death.
To protect yourself from instant death, time your block Action Commands to Jinx's attacks and equip yourself with the right accessories!
The victory condition of this fight is to fill up your Action Gauge to 100% and use a Triple Move on Mario-Style Jinx. When starting this fight, your Action Gauge will start at 0%.
You do not need to use an offensive Triple Move, so you can simply use a move like Spare-Us-All to finish the fight. Build your team's Action Gauge to get a Triple Move ready on Jinx!
How to Fill the Action Gauge Fast
Make sure to practice your timing with Action Commands which need to use for building the Action Gauge. This covers both offensive and defensive Action Commands!
Consecutive successful Action Commands will increase your Chain count, increasing how much your Action Gauge is filled.
All Action Command Timings for Special Moves
Since building up the Action Gauge can take a while, you will want to make sure party is healed regularly in this fight. Use revives like Pick Me Up or Peach's Come Back in case anyone falls in battle.
Using Action Commands successfully with support moves also count towards building the Action Gauge, make sure to take advantage of those timings!
