Super Mario RPG Remake - Demonstrate Triple Move to Jinx

Jinx is an optional boss in the main story and is located in Monstro Town. You can find him to initiate the rematch as soon as you have stayed over at the Marrymore Hotel using the Stay Voucher given in the post-game.

You will need to have beaten his three fights first since he will only reward you the Teamwork Band when you beat him again as the dojo's Master.

Teamwork Band Makes it easier to charge up Triple Moves.

Defeating Mario-Style Jinx will reward you with the Teamwork Band, an accessory that will allow you to increase the charge up on your Triple Moves!

If you have not beaten the previous fights of Jinx yet, you will want to defeat him up to the third fight to get the Jinx Belt, an accessory that will protect you from instant death attacks.

Every time you fail an Action Command, Jinx will retaliate with the one-hit KO Silver Bullet. This fight can be difficult to deal with without equipment that protects you from instant death.

To protect yourself from instant death, time your block Action Commands to Jinx's attacks and equip yourself with the right accessories!

Triple Moves Will Finish the Fight

Super Mario RPG Remake - Use a Triple Move on Mario-Style Jinx

The victory condition of this fight is to fill up your Action Gauge to 100% and use a Triple Move on Mario-Style Jinx. When starting this fight, your Action Gauge will start at 0%.

You do not need to use an offensive Triple Move, so you can simply use a move like Spare-Us-All to finish the fight. Build your team's Action Gauge to get a Triple Move ready on Jinx!

How to Fill the Action Gauge Fast

Super Mario RPG Remake - Use Action Commands to Build Action Gauge

Make sure to practice your timing with Action Commands which need to use for building the Action Gauge. This covers both offensive and defensive Action Commands!

Consecutive successful Action Commands will increase your Chain count, increasing how much your Action Gauge is filled.
