Mario's shadow can be used as a reference to see your Super Jumps more clearly.
Spikeys are enemies immune to Jump attacks. You can attempt 100 Super Jumps by targeting Spikeys when using the Super Jump move, as they'll receive 0 damage and won't die unless you're wearing Jump Shoes.
Enemies that are immune to Jump without Jump Shoes are good targets for trying to get 100 Super Jumps since they're animation does not change when landed on, making it much easier to continue using jumps on.
Flower Ring is an accessory that cuts FP cost of special moves in half. This makes attempting Super Jumps less costly. This item can be bought from the Frog Sage's Student at Seaside Town for 50 Frog Coins.
Flower Ring - Effects and How to Get
Jinx is a great enemy to attempt 100 Super Jumps due to his small size, offering a better chance to clearly see Mario's jump timing and maintain the Super Jump streak up to 100.
Additionally, Jinx has HP, enabling it to survive your Super Jump attempts. Defeating Jinx also fully restores your Flower Points.
Having the Earlier Times item in your inventory makes attempting 100 Super Jumps on Jinx easier, as it allows you to reset the ongoing battle, including all HP, FP, and items used prior to the encounter.
Earlier Times - Effects and How to Get
When performing consecutive Super Jumps, you can focus on Mario's shadow and use that as the visual cue to time your Super Jumps.
Another visual cue to use is the number that appears when you perform consecutive Super Jumps. This number shakes slightly for each successful timed Super Jump and you can use that subtle shaking animation to time the jump.
If you have a game capture card and a PC, you can plug the game on a video broadcasting software and point your mouse cursor to the location where you will time your Super Jumps.
Note that some game capture cards may have input lag which may cause you to press the button too early or too late when attempting 100 Super Jumps.
The first 6 Super Jumps allow players to have a bit of leeway when it comes to their timing, as the acceptable Super Jump window is bigger. From the 7th Super Jump to about the 15th, however, the Super Jump window will get smaller.
Note that the two Super Jump windows above allow the player to press the A button a little before Mario lands on the enemy. While helpful, don't make it a habit to press A earlier as it could potentially hurt your timing after the 15th jump.
After the 15th Super Jump, the only acceptable frame where you can press A is when Mario is stepping on the enemy. Pressing A earlier than that will end the Super Jump chain, so be sure to practice the timing of your button presses until you can hit a total of 100 consecutive Super Jumps!
