Best Equipment for Each Character
|
Special Move | Effect |
---|---|
Geno Boost (Mario) |
・Boosts attack (and defense on successful Action Command timing).・Press A right before arrows disappear for timed bonus. |
While the Geno Boost naturally buffs a member's attack, make sure to get a hang on successfully executing the timed Action Command to get the defense buff out of it.
The Axem Rangers have several powerful attacks, most notably Blade's Breaker Beam. Make sure to consistently keep your defense buffs up to make dealing with attacks easier!
Best Special Moves for Each Character
You may want to hold off on using group-wide special attacks with Axem Black on the battlefield, since he can retaliate with a Spritz Bomb.
Make sure to defeat them first one-by-one to avoid any difficulties!
Best Target Order | ||
---|---|---|
Priority & Name | Weakness | Features |
① Axem Green (HP: 450) |
・Strong magic attacks ・Low HP |
|
② Axem Pink (HP: 400) |
・Uses healing magic ・Low HP |
|
③ Axem Black (HP: 550) |
・Attacks twice in one turn ・Counterattacks special attacks |
|
④ Axem Yellow (HP: 600) |
・Counterattacks normal attacks | |
⑤ Axem Red (HP: 800) |
・High HP ・Buffs self |
Using Mallow's Thought Peek, Axem Pink and Axem Green are known to have low HP, but are crucial to their team's survival thanks to their arsenal of special moves. Prioritize them first before other members of the Axem Rangers. Feel free to use a Triple Move to take them out quickly.
Axem Black is capable of multiple attacks in a turn. If you have Mallow out, you can make use of Shocker to exploit his weakness to Lightning.
Axem Yellow is capable of counterattacking normal attacks, so consider exploiting his weakness to jump attacks, such as Super Jump. Since Axem Red has the most health of the members, he can be prioritized last.
After defeating all members of the Axem Rangers individually, you will have to fight them together with Blade, who can cast the dangerous Breaker Beam.
Make sure to heal up before then, since the Breaker Beam can deal around 100-130 damage to each member.
The Breaker Beam charges for 1 turn after every use, which means more breathing room. Take advantage of this pattern to heal up and do some considerable damage!
Most of the dangerous attacks usually come from Axem Green since he has largest amount of party-wide moves at his disposal. You will want to look out for his Meteor Blast, Solidify, and Static Electricity.
Axem Green is also capable of silencing targets through Elegy. If you are worried about him spamming his moves, you can use Peach's Mute.
Look out for the Axem's Ranger's signature attack Breaker Beam, which targets all members of your party. Is pierces defense and is one of the strongest attacks in the game, so make sure to have healing on hand!
This attack is signified by Axem Red manning Blade's cannon, and takes around one turn to charge.
