Bowser is the King of the Koopas and Mario's infamous archnemesis. Mario and his friends will encounter Bowser throughout the game, trying to find out what he's plotting.

Bowser's Playstyle

Weaken Enemies with Debuffs

In combat, Bowser can be used to inflict Fear and Poison status effects to enemies. Fear is a status effect that makes the affected target deal less damage and receive more.

Bowser's Poison attack affects the opponent's entire party, and will chip away the affected targets' HP per turn.

Can Be a Physical-Focused Ally

Bowser is a close second to Geno on the character with the highest base Attack stat. You can safely get the Physical boosts on level ups and have him focus on using normal attacks and save your FP for healing and elemental AoE attacks.

Joins at the Booster Tower

Bowser will join Mario's party at the entrance of Booster Tower, upon clearing Booster Pass. He will join the party at Level 8.

Bowser's strongest weapon is the Wonder Chomp, which boasts an attack stat of 67. The weapon can be obtained by defeating Leveled-Up Punchinello in a post-game rematch.

The Work Pants is the best Armor for Bowser aside from the Super Suit. Bowser's final Armor, the Heel Shell, provides fewer total stat boosts, and the Work Pants give helpful boosts to Attack and Speed.

If you have the Super Suit and want to use Bowser in your main party, then Bowser is a great choice to use it on because his options for endgame Armor are the worst out of any character.

Accessories: Quartz Charm

The Quartz Charm is one of the best accessories in the game due increasing all damage dealt by 1.5x and reducing all damage taken by half, as long as the holder does not faint. Just remember that Geno Boost and Quartz Charm do not stack with each other. If you plan to use Bowser and Geno together, an accessory like Jinx Belt might be better to avoid this overlap.
