I was farming mats for one of the characters when I accidentally got spoiled for this, I'm still in the Xianzhou first chapters when I needed mats for ascending and had to fight Sunday. Thankful enough that I survived the Shadow of Echo with the Aventurine support, Himeko, Fire TB, and Moze. I'm just into 2 months of playing, my account is relatively new

If you don't have Acheron you can use Jing Yuan, or Himeko if you're really new. My optimal team: Robin, Ruan Mei, Gepard, Jing Yuan. Super safe option would be: Luo Chaa, Ruan Mei, Gepard, Jing Yuan
If you don't have Gep just ensure your health is high enough across your team so that Natasha has enough time to regain her ult and heal. Serval + HTB + Natasha + flex (maybe Guinaifen for fire/aoe/dot, M7 for shield, or Gallagher for fire/aoe/heal/break).
Adding more... This was actually easier than Aventurine boss fight imo. I used the same team for him. Harmony TB 3.2K HP + 1K ATK, Gep 3.7K HP + 2.6K DEF, Nat 4.5K HP, Serval 3.4K HP + 1.7K ATK. Gep will again save the day if your def is high enough, your shield should last a couple of turn cycles. Then patiently DOT with Serval and toughness break with HTB. I will admit Gep might not be an F2P option but I got him in the starter warp when I started playing the game.
I beat it with Natasha, Gepard, Harmony TB and Serval all lv 70. Just ensure your DEF and HP are as high as possible on Nat and Gep with your LC and traces/relics. Once your DEF is high enough the boss/minion skills can't do enough damage to break your shield, and even if they do they will focus on Gep anyway. I also use the LC that gives Burn when Preservation char gets hit for extra DOT. Use Nat/Gep basic ATK only for SP and then HTB for Skill/Ult, and Serval for DOT/Ult.
There´s a big problem. I want to use Fire Trailblazer as a shielder and I can´t because Imaginary Trailblazer is mandatory. I can´t use him because I cant repeat characthers in the team.And the other options i have are Gepard and March 7th. I should´ve pulled Aventurine in his banner.Now I have to wait to try to get Firefly or wait until Aventurine banner. Does anyone have any other suggestion?
What is this trash? I'm wasting like half an hour just for the first wave and then one of my characters dies.
its me again, swapped ratio to jingliu and finally leveled other chars up as had no idea its 3 damn bosses in one kind a deal but it wasnt that bad once i took my jingliu out. Got only 6* stars and out of 5 3 are standard banner so im happy ive finally did it
MAKE sure you use two sustains (healer + healer, shield + shield, shield+ healer), etc. you could use basically any characters, the ones that worked for me were luocha and bailu because bailus kits is fully heals while luochas more of an extra healer. You can use any characters like Aventurine, gepard, lynx, Gallagher, march 7th even, luocha, bailu, huohuo, it just depends on who you have. what characters do you have?
As f2p , just 3 months in player: managed to win with IMC, Ratio, Gallahager and Sparkle. It was oddly pretty easy, Galalhager, IMC and Ratio carried me hard. Probably if youre f2p and got Ratio youre good to go. Take imaginary mc, Ratio + 2 supports and you should make it. It took me 3 weeks to build from 0 Galla, IMC but it was worth it.
This boss is the reason why I sent in a bug report saying this fight was straight up impossible to beat. It's so pathetic at this point that HoYo needs to nerf this so hard

Same I’m really hoping that hoyoverse nerfs this guy I’m not going to quit the game it’s just I’m hoping they nerf this guy
This boss might be what makes me quit. I cant beat it, with these F2P teams, with my own units that should be better at it than the f2p units, nothing. Im not gonna be able to do the mini quest for the extra rewards, so im going to be punished because this boss has walled me so hard.
