Compel Shades With the Tablet of Peace

While battling through the regions, Melinoe may encounter Lone Shades in search of meaning. With the Tablet of Peace, Melinoe can compel them to the Crossroads, to gain Psyche.

Walk next to the shade, and hit the Interact button to start the minigame to compel shades that you come across. To complete, hold the onscreen buttons, and switch accordingly.

Compel the Lone Shade Within Two Tries

In the Tablet of Peace's minigame, you have two chances to compel a Lone Shade you encounter. However, if you fail both chances, the Shade will leave without giving you any Psyche.

Resources Obtained From the Tablet of Peace

Psyche

Psyche is a resource used to increase Melinoe's Grasp. Similar to Darkness and the Mirror of the Night in Hades 1, having more Grasp gives Melinoe access to more buffs through her Arcana Cards in the Altar of Ashes.

How to Compel Shades Using Frinos

Use 1 Free Compel Attempt From Frinos

Bonds	Rank 1	Rank 2	Rank 3
Soul Bond	While together, gain +1 Tool Support to use each night.	While together, gain +2 Tool Support to use each night.	While together, gain +3 Tool Support to use each night.

Once you've unlocked Frinos as a familiar, you can access his Soul Bond ability which enables you to use +1 Tool Support for each night.

This means that the first compelling you will attempt using the Tablet of Peace for a single night is free, and can be regarded as an addition to the number of compeling attempts you can perform.

This ability gets upgraded per rank, which gives you more opportunities to compel more shades and gain Psyche.

Unlock Night's Craftwork at the Cauldron

Before you can reveal Gathering Tools in the Silver Pool, you must first complete the Night's Craftwork incantation. You will need 1x Moly for this incantation, which you can find in Erebus when it is not raining.

To reveal the Tablet of Peace at the Silver Pool, make sure you have 5x Psyche and 5x Silver with you in your Inventory.

How to Equip the Tablet of Peace

Interact With the Silver Pool to Equip

Once you have crafted the Tablet of Peace, you can equip it by locating it in Silver Pool.

Afterwards, press the Interact button on the Tablet of Peace, and it will be equipped by Melinoe.

Can Only Bring One Tool per Run

Similar to Weapons, however, you can only bring one Tool with you per run. Thus, you cannot collect resources that are associated with another Gathering Tool.

Before heading out, select which Tool and Resource you would like to focus on for the run. Your currently equipped Tool will be displayed on the lower right hand corner of the screen.
