In order to track your progress in wooing a certain character, you must first activate Empath's Intuition through Incantation; the recipe of which can be unlocked by having all the ingredients on hand.

Doing this will give you access to the heart meter in the Book of Shadows, allowing you to determine what stage you are currently at with your desired romanceable character.

The process of gifting items to characters is the surefire way to their heart. There are different kinds of gifts you can present to them, and each gift will trigger different events or series of events depending on which you give.

The age old custom of gifting Nectar to whomever you wish to romance will not fail you here, alike the first Hades game. Make sure to give these out to your prospective romantic candidates as gifting it increases their heart meter count by 1 per Nectar gifted, allowing you to progress their storyline and further forge deeper bonds.

Invite Them to Bathe With You

Bath Salts	・Communal visits to the Crossroads Hot Springs pass 12 Nights. ・ Obtained from trading with the Wretched Broker (while supplies last!) ・ Also found using the Silver Spade on rare Digging Spots in various Regions

Another way to increase your relationship with a character is by inviting them to Bathe with you by gifting them Bath Salts. By doing so, you gain access to special scenes with them and strengthen their affinity toward you.

Invite Them to Fish With You

Incantation	Effects	Cost
Rite of River-Fording	Restore the Crossroads Fishing Pier, so it may be used (min. two guests at a time). Grants +1 Twin Lures.	・Cattail x2 ・Driftwood x4

In order to spend some time fishing with your favored character, you must first unlock the Crossroads Fishing Pier through the Rite of River-Fording Incantation. Doing this will grant you the Twin Lures which can be bought from the Wretched Broker.

Invite Them to Share a Drink With You

Rite of Social Solidarity	Restore the Crossroads Taverna, where Shades and others rest and recover. Grants +1 Ambrosia.	・Nectar x2 ・Garlic x2

You can further increase your affection with a character by inviting them for a drink at the Crossroads Taverna after completing the Rite of Social Solidarity Incantation. Afterwards, you can invite any character you choose to romance with Ambrosia, sourced from the Wretched Broker for 500 Bones.

Much like bathing, a cutscene will play that is unique to each character you decide to invite.
