+ |
Dash-Strike Melinoe launches an attack after dashing, essentially performing a counterattack after dodging an enemy's attack.. |
(Tap) |
Cast Conjures the Magic Circle which ensnares enemies inside. |
(Hold) |
Omega Cast After briefly charging, empowers the Magic Circle to deal massive damage to snared enemies. Costs Magick. |
The Tap version of Attack, Special, and Cast are your main damaging attacks against normal enemies. These do not cost Magick, which means you can essentially spam these in between dodges to deal with groups of enemies.
The Boons you choose also augment these attacks, adding additional effects and increasing your damage.
Since Omega Attacks require charging and costs Magick, these should be used sparingly. Casting Omega Attacks require charging, so this puts you in a vulnerable position, and the Magick Cost can be detrimental if your attack misses.
Omega Attacks are best reserved for Guardians, Bosses, or large groups of enemies. Guardians and Bosses tend to stay stationary longer, making it easier to land Omega Attacks safely, given that you know their attack patterns.
Each weapon in Hades have different skill sets, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.
It is ultimately up to your playstyle when choosing which weapon to go with, but Familiarity with your Weapon will greatly help with landing combos.
While you start with the Witch's Staff, you can craft more weapons as you progress the game.
Equipping the Weapon shows you all the combos you can do with it, which you can test with Schelemus first before setting forth.
