Melinoe, the Princess of the Underworld, serves as the new protagonist for Hades 2. As the determined sister of Zagreus, she aims to delve into her father Hades' domain with unwavering resolve to rescue her family from the clutches of Chronos, the Titan of Time.

The Unseen

The Unseen reside within the Crossroads, a hidden realm nestled between Olympus and the Underworld. As steadfast allies, they become familiar companions in your nightly ventures.

Among them are the enigmatic shade Dora, the strategic mind Odysseus, and the offspring of Nyx - Nemesis, Hypnos and Moros.

The most exciting draw for Hades 2 is definitely the new Gods and Goddesses that will aid Melinoe on her adventure. Like in the first game, these Olympians will lend their aid in the form of blessings and boons that will empower you on your quest.

So far we've been shown Apollo, the God of Light, Hephaestus, the God of the Forge, and Hestia, the Goddess of the Flame.

As Melinoe embarks on her daring mission to confront Chronos, several Olympian gods return in full force to aid her cause.

Among them stand her uncles Zeus and Poseidon, her grandmother Demeter, the alluring Aphrodite, and Artemis, now also known as one of the revered Silver Sisters.

A few more familiar faces make their return from the first game, all of whom appear in minor or supporting roles.

Among these returning figures are the boatman Charon, continuing his role as a purveyor of goods, the ever-sleepy Hypnos, seemingly caught in an eternal nap, and the enigmatic skeleton commander Schelemeus, who offers his services as a sparring partner.
