Ultimately, having runs where encounters give Hermes Boons are entirely based on your luck, so equip Arcana Cards that give Change of Fate to reroll Boon rewards.

At the first instance that you give an offering of Nectar to Hermes, you'll receive the Keepsake in return.

You can equip this keepsake by the Silver Pool before every night to increase your speed during the first 200 seconds of each run or after equipping it in between Locations.

Playstyle

Most of the Boons you can receive from Hermes provide speed buffs for attacks and movement. He can also boost your survivability with an auto-dodge Boon or a Boon that slows down enemy projectiles.

Hermes's Boons are supplements for slots already empowered by Boons from other gods or Daedalus Hammer upgrades instead of being part of a specific playstyle.

Synergies

Hermes's Boons are generally great and can work in any build, but the speed boosts are best paired with Boons that increase damage like Apollo or Aphrodite's to add more hits within the same amount of time.

Some of these can also be considered as staple Boons for Moonstone Axe, particularly Greater Evasion and Swift Strike to reduce the frames that Melinoe is vulnerable while swinging the weapon.

Hermes Curse and Effects

Increases Action Speed

Hermes doesn't afflict curse or have a named effect. Instead, he can increase the speed of Melinoe's actions such as her Attack, Special, and Sprint.

Provides a Passive Dodge

Hermes's Greater Evasion makes Melinoe auto-dodge attacks by a fixed rate. Pair this boon with Apollo's Daze Boons to add an extra layer of "damage nullifier" to your kit.
