Odysseus is one of Melinoe's companions in The Crossroads. He is often seen near the Cauldron. He plays the same role as Achilles did in the previous game, a teacher of combat to our protagonist.

Odysseus' keepsakes, Knuckle Bones guarantees that the next Guardian you face will always lose 5% of their health as well as deal 15% less damage to Melinoe. Guardians are the mini bosses you face at the end of every region, for example in Erebus the Guardian is Hecate.
Odysseus in Greek mythology was a King of Ithaca and a legendary hero in the Trojan War. He is known for defeating and killing the cyclops Polyphemus, who happened to be a son of Poseidon.
