Bosses appear as the Guardians of the regions they inhabit. Overcoming them is the difference between progressing through your run, or starting over. Check out a full list of the Bosses you'll face in Hades 2, where they can be found, and our guides on how to beat each boss!

List of All Bosses
There are a total of six bosses that can be faced as of the Early Access version of the game. Four of them can be found as you make your way down to the underworld, and up to two of them will attempt to impede your progress as you forge towards Olympus.
Underworld Bosses
| Boss | Region | Description |

 Hecate
|
Erebus | The Headmistress of the Crossroads serves as the first boss of the game. As your mentor, she will test your abilities to confirm that you are ready for what you might face for the rest of your journey. |
 Scylla
|
Oceanus | Scylla acts as the second boss of the underworld. Together with her band of Sirens, they'll overwhelm you with a rhythmic barrage of attacks. |
 Cerberus
|
Fields of Mourning | Overwhelmed with grief, you'll have to face Cerberus who stands guard at the end of the Fields of Mourning. It will be up to you to calm this Infernal Beast from his raged frenzy. |
 Chronos
|
Tartarus | The Titan of Time himself sits on the throne of what used to be the House of Hades. Face him to avenge your family. |
Surface Bosses

|
City of Ephyra | After going through the City of Ephyra, this Cyclops will stand in your way in an attempt to halt your advances. |
 Eris
|
Rift of Thessaly | As you press on through the rift, you'll face Nemesis' sister and Strife Incarnate Eris. Wielding Exagryph, you'll have to best her in combat before you can go onward. |

As of the Early Access there are ten minibosses known to be in the game. These Wardens have their unique rooms and present a larger challenge than your usual encounters.

What are Bosses?
Guardians of Each of Region
The bosses in Hades 2 are often found in the final room of each region. The entrance to their rooms are typically marked with a red horned skull icon. In contrast, minibosses, also known as Wardens, have their rooms marked with a white skull icon and can be found randomly as you explore a region.
These rooms will focus on combat sequences engaged with the bosses instead of the usual swarm of enemies that other encounters have. Understanding their attack patterns and behavior is the key to taking them down.
