Elite Encounters are stronger enemies found in some specific rooms in Hades 2. Read on to learn what Elite Encounters are, how to identify them, as well as the rewards for finishing them in Hades 2.
List of Contents
Elite Encounters are characterized as enemies located in specific rooms to be either Armored Enemies or Minibosses in the game.
Minibosses have higher health bars than normal enemy encounters and have stronger attacks that can deplete your Life Points much faster than usual.
Armored Enemies can be identified by their yellow health bars as you first encounter them. Once you've chipped away their yellow health bar, you can attack and stagger them unitl they die.
Elite Encounters should be fought with caution, as they can take you out easily if you are caught off guard.
You will be able to identify Elite Encounters by checking the room entrance and seeing a skull adorned on the bottom of the reward.
Once you've entered the room, you will have to defeat the Elite Encounter to progress the game so you could earn the Boons and rewards from defeating the enemy.
An advantage in choosing to unlock Elite Encounters is the reward available after you've finished it.
You may notice that Elite Encounters with Boon Rewards have green arrows embellished on the entrance. This signifies that the Boon Rewards are stronger when redeemed.
It is recommended that you try to unlock Elite Encounters to get rarer Boons for your progress, even if you have to deal with enemies that are harder to finish off.
