Hades II - What Does Saluting Do Saluting
Saluting is an interaction option for the NPCs encountered in the game. When selected, Melinoe will bow and offer formal greetings toward NPCs that present the interaction option.

All New and Returning Characters

Saluting Does Not Give Upgrades or Rewards

Saluting does not provide upgrades or rewards to Melinoe, other than additional dialogue that differs compared to when you choose the Talk option with NPCs.

You could salute NPCs by interacting with them and choosing the Salute option in the menu.

The greetings performed by Melinoe will vary based on the NPC, and their responses are usually characterized as being honored or flattered by Melinoe.
