Why Should You Level Up Boons?
Leveling Up Enhances Your Boon's Abilities
While running through Erebus and beyond, you will be faced with increasingly difficult enemies that try to get in your way. Having enhanced Boons will increase your chances in defeating them swiftly in combat, allowing you to clear areas with ease.
Always Enhance Boons at Least to Level 2
When deciding on which Boons to enhance, it is wise to note that enhancing Level 1 Boons to Level 2 is akin to increasing the Boon's rarity by one.

| Lv. 2 Epic | = | Lv. 1 Heroic |
For example, a Level 2 Common Boon will always grant you the same ability as a Level 1 Rare Boon. The same logic applies across all Boon rarities and only occurs at the Level 2 mark. With this in mind, it's best to always keep the Boons you own at Level 2 in the least when you get the chance.
How to Level Up Boons
Obtain Pomegranates

Pom of Power and Pom Slice both serve the purpose of leveling up your Boons and can be purchased from Charon for 100 Golden Crowns and 50 Golden Crowns respectively, or gained as Room Rewards.

Pom of Power Levels-Up Specific Boons
After consuming a Pom of Power, a prompt will appear on your screen, allowing you to select one of the Boons you currently have for enhancement. It will always give you the option to upgrade one out of up to three Boons regardless if you have more than three active.
Pomegranate Slices Randomly Level-Up Boons
Pom Slices, much like its name suggests, offers limited enhancement options unlike its whole form. Once consumed, it will randomly select one of the Boons you currently own and level it up, indicated by a Boon: +1 Lv. visualizer appearing atop Melinoe's head.
