Dionysus May Not Likely Return, But Will Possibly Be Mentioned

There has been no confirmation that Dionysus will come back nor make a physical appearance in Hades 2.

Possibly Mentioned by Other Characters

Dionysus was mentioned by Hephaestus during one of his encounters with Melinoe, stating that he was being drunk somewhere and avoiding the war as much as possible.

He may also be alluded to by other characters in Hades 2, given his role in the first game as one of the Olympian gods helping Zagreus.

Dionysus Backstory

God of Wine, Provided Boons for Zagreus in the First Game

Dionysus was described as the God of Wine in the first game, and was one of the Gods that provided Zagreus with Boons that upgraded his skillset and damage output in battle.

His personality and demeanor were mostly chill when it came to conversing with Zagreus, given that his usual consumption of wine may have played a part in his general attitude towards others.
