Who is Circe?

Circe is described in the game as the Witch of Changing, and has been an acquaintance to both Lady Hecate and Melinoe during the past events of the game.

It is implied that Circe was present during the formative years of Melinoe, when she was but only a learner and a budding practitioner of witchcraft.

Circe Backstory

Old Acquaintance to Hecate and Melinoe

During your first encounter, Circe will ask Melinoe if she remembers her. This implies that Circe and Melinoe have met during the childhood years of the princess of the Underworld.

Melinoe reassures her that she remembers Circe from her past. The enchantress replied that she had orders from Lady Hecate to relocate back to her island so she could survey the gods.

Enchantress, Daughter of Helios

Circe is famously known as an enchantress in Greek Mythology, as well as being the daughter of the sun god Helios.

She has a certain mastery in shape manipulation, particularly turning mortals who have offended or slighted her into animals.
