What is Magick

Magick is primarily used for Omega Moves in Hades 2. The Blue bar above your health represents the amount of Magick you currently have.

How to Increase Max Magick

How to Use Magick for Omega Moves

Imbue Magick by Holding the Attack, Special, or Cast Button

In order to spend Magick, you have to use your Omega Moves. These moves can be used by holding down their respective button to unleash a powerful move.

Omega Move How to Do Effect
Omega Attack Hold X then release Empowers Attack move
Omega Special Hold Y then release Empowers Special move
Omega Cast Hold B to Ensare and Destroy Empowers Cast move

Restore at Magick Altars

You will find these Altars randomly throughout your playthrough. When you are low on Magick, head for one of these Altars to completely fill up your Magick again.

Unlock The Unseen Arcana

Unlock The Unseen Arcana

The Unseen can be unlocked at the Altar of Ashes after unlocking one of their nearby Arcanas. It gives you consistent Magick regeneration every second. Keep in mind that you need 20 Ash to unlock and 5 Grasp equip this Arcana.

Soul Tonic

When advancing an area, sometimes the rewards will be a Soul Tonic. This can increase your max Magick throughout your escape and will reset between runs.

Unlock The Titan Arcana

Unlock The Titan

The Titan can be unlocked after unlocking either The Furies or The Wayward Son beside it. Giving a flat +20 Magick for Melinoe. Keep in mind that you need 20 Ash to unlock and 2 Grasp equip this Arcana.
