Argent Skull deals high damage with its Attacks, allowing you to activate the Blitz curse against enemies with ease.
The Zeus Boons that give chain lightning and lightning strikes also pair well with Argent Skull, since you can still damage your enemies passively while picking up skulls.
Hera's Hitch curse makes enemies share the damage they receive, making it great for Argent Skull's heavy AoE attacks.
With one skull, you can damage groups of enemies, and exponentially increase your damage with the second skull once they are inflicted with Hitch.
One downside of the Argent Skull is that you can only use three skulls before reloading, making it harder to deal with large groups of enemies.
The knockback effect from Poseidon's Boons make up for this weakness, working especially well with your Special for repositioning.
Poseidon Boons and Gameplay Tips
Bolstered Array gives you an additional 2 Skulls, allowing you to fire up to 5 times before reloading.
With the high damage from Argent Skull, you can essentially deal even more damage before having to worry about picking up the skulls to reload and fire again.
Twisting Crash buffs Argent Skull's Omega Special, making it move inward after the initial outward burst. This gives it better crowd control, and essentially doubles the damage your Omega Special deals.
Taking this hammer upgrade also means you can now rely more on your Omega Special to deal damage, especially during instances where you run out of skulls.
Possessed Array basically refunds the Magick Cost of your Omega Attack, allowing you to spam it. The only downside is the skull will take longer to drop, but proper cycling through your other attacks should take care of this problem.
Argent Skull's Omega Attack has a large AoE range and damage, so you can use this as your first attack then cycle through your other skulls and special to deal damage and reposition while waiting for the first skull to be picked up.
